The joker jotted down a car make and licence plate on a piece of paper and asked staff is if they would read it out as the driver had left the lights on.

He then warned the "battery will go flat" and hands over the note before walking away.

A female Asda worker unwittingly agreed to read out the message, which makes reference to a sex act.

Hilarious footage shows Michael wandering around the shop as the helpful worker says: "Can the owner of a Ford Focus, black, Ne1 4ABJ, please come to customer service.

"That's a black Ford Focus, NE1 4ABJ, thank you."

Michael can be heard giggling as the staff member repeats the joke - unaware of what she's really asking for.

It isn't clear when the footage was taken or where but Michael posted it on Facebook yesterday.

He said: "Passing the time in asda while my wife shops. Lmao."
