PRINCE Charles has embraced the luxury royal lifestyle – insisting on travelling with truck loads of luggage including his own toilet paper and bottled water on trips, it has been revealed.
The future king, who is said to change his clothes five times a day, even has his entire bedroom fittings – including his orthopaedic bed and own linen – delivered to his accommodation.
A loo seat and two paintings of the Scottish Highlands is also believed to accompany him on trips to friends, investigative journalist Tom Bower writes.
He is also reported to have taken a £18,916 self-indulgent trip to Penrith, Cumbria, on the royal train to visit a pub.
Charles, 69, even gets his personal policeman to arrive at functions with a flask containing a pre-mixed martini, the insight into his pampered lifestyle claimed.

The Prince of Wales is apparently so aloof he has been heard boasting to pals: “I’ve been on the Tube, you know,” to which they respond, “Yes, but only to open a line.”
The outlandish claims shed some light into the life of the prince, who is next in line to the throne.
Among the claims, were that Charles reportedly asked guests to sit at 8pm but arrived at 8.15pm himself because he decided against eating a first course.
He is also said to employ four gardeners to lie on a trailer pulled by a slow-moving Land Rover to pluck out weeds to avoid pesticides.
He also apparently gets staff to handpick slugs from the leaves at night.
In one extract Camilla, reportedly heard him shriek from the kitchen.
On entering she saw him pointing at some food and asking, “What’s this?” She replied: “It’s cling film, darling.”
The book claims if Charles is away he will tell his host his own meal will be delivered by an aide.
Charles’ lawyers dismissed the book’s sources.
It comes after Prince Charles fuelled rumours that Camilla might become queen after a statement saying she would become Princess Consort was removed from his website.
