Boxer Floyd Mayweather’s bodyguard ‘shot outside hotel in Atlanta’

FLOYD Mayweather's bodyguard has been shot outside an upmarket hotel in Atlanta, according to reports.

The shooting is said to have happened in the early hours of this morning outside the InterContinental hotel in the Buckhead area of the US city.

Channel 2's Audrey Washington at the scene said cops told her three cars were returning to their hotel from a club when another vehicle pulled up beside them and fired several times.

The three cars then fled, while being pursued down the road by the car with the shooter in, Washington reported.

After losing the car, they are said to have driven to the hospital where the victim was treated for a gunshot wound to the leg.

Reports later emerged that the man who was shot worked as a bodyguard for boxing champ Mayweather.
