THIS is the revolting moment a medic removes maggots from large holes in a man's head.
Sickening footage shows the doctor calmly yank the disgusting larvae out the patient's head one by one with a pair of tweezers.
The camera zooms in on the gaping holes, in which the maggots can be seen wriggling inside the man's head.
But the unfazed doctor uses the tweezers to remove a seemingly endless supply of the creatures from of the wounds.
They require little effort to pull out in the short clip.
Others in the room are heard exclaiming their shock in the background, though the victim appears to be unmoved by the grim procedure.
The clip was uploaded to video sharing site LiveLeak today and has already amassed thousands of views.
Repulsed users have been quick to share their disgust.
One viewer wrote: "His head looks like the finger holes in a bowling ball."
Another said: "Time to change shampoos."
Meanwhile, another posted: "How in the world do they let it progress that far before seeking medical attention."
It is unclear where the clip was filmed and, indeed, how the larvae ended up in the man's head.
In November last year, a homeless woman's head became infested with maggots in northern India.
Preeti Devi was somehow nursed back to health after her community rallied around to help her.
