DAMNING new pictures have emerged showing gas canisters at the scene of the suspected chemical attack in Syria that killed 75 people.
New details over the attack have been revealed by the French government's equivalent of MI6 - the DGSE overseas intelligence service.
It comes after France joined the UK and US in unleashing a blitz on evil Bashar al-Assad’s chemical weapons capabilities after the poison gas attack.
The three nations launched more than 100 airstrikes in a "one-time shot", that was more than double the firepower of the US airstrike on a Syrian base last year.
But a French intelligence report claims the Douma horror last week could have been the 12th time the "red line" on the use of chemical weapons was crossed in the past year.
It said: "Since April 2017, the Syrian regime has increasingly used chemical weapons and toxic agents in its military operations."
It also claimed that in 44 alleged incidents where chemical weapons or toxic agents were used, "evidence collected around 11 of the attacks gave reason to assess that they were of a chemical nature".
The report added: "Chlorine is believed to have been used in most cases, while the services also believe a neurotoxic agent was used at Harasta on November 18, 2017."
