Gazza even looked to have the same competitive edge as ever, celebrating winning headers and point-scoring during the encounter that took place across a driveway gate.

The star, who has faced a long-term battle with alcohol, joked that he damaged his hip but insisted he didn't mind because he won the game.

He tweeted: "Responded to BBA bounce back ability x I think I've damaged my hip oh well GAZZA won xx" before adding: "Yipee never lost it xx GAZZA GAZZA GAZZA xx".

The video - posted by Cameron on Twitter - has amassed more than 225 retweets along with over 1,600 likes in less than 24 hours.
