Three fanatics attack fellow inmate in workshop at HMP Whitemoor after remark about the Muslim religion
THREE of Britain’s most notorious terror prisoners battered another inmate in a jail brawl.
The fanatics are said to have flipped after a remark about their Muslim religion.
Tarik Hassane, Rajib Karim and Brusthom Ziamani, all among the most dangerous extremists in the UK, were investigated by bosses at top-security Whitemoor jail, Cambs.
But they will not face further police action.
The other inmate was treated for minor injuries after the workshop bust-up.
A source said: “They claimed another prisoner made a comment about their Muslim faith and they just lost it. The other inmate was lucky to escape with just minor injuries thanks to the swift reaction of prison officers.”
Hassane, 23, got a life sentence in 2016 for his part in a conspiracy to kill cops and soldiers in drive-by shootings.
BA software engineer Karim, 37, was jailed for 30 years in 2011 for plotting to blow up one of the airline’s planes.
Ziamani, 21, was jailed for 22 years in 2015 after planning a copycat attack on a soldier in the wake of Lee Rigby’s murder.
A Prison Service spokesman said: “We do not tolerate violence in our prisons.
