Kidnap gang posing as police bundle victim into car fitted with blue lights
The impostors demanded a £100,000-plus ransom and fired an imitation gun during calls to back up threats
A KIDNAP gang posing as cops bundled a victim into a car fitted with blue lights.
They forced the victim into the fake police vehicle after battering him to the ground as he left his house, a court heard.
The four demanded a £100,000-plus ransom from his elderly mum and relatives. They said they would kill him and fired an imitation gun during calls to back up threats.
The “intellectual” ringleader Conrad Jackson drove, joined by “muscle man” Reece Jackson.
The pair, both 25, were working with “inside man” Amir Sahir, 29, a neighbour of the victim, and Zephan Rollins, 30.
They gave up after seven hours when their demands were not met. All four were found guilty of the kidnap and blackmail conspiracy in Bromley, South East London, in December 2016.
