Meghan Markle’s dad Thomas looks up his daughter and Prince Harry at internet café ahead of Royal Wedding

FATHER of the bride Thomas Markle does some royal revision online as he prepares for daughter Meghan’s wedding day.

The silver surfer searched for the latest on the 36-year-old actress and groom Prince Harry.

Thomas, 73, viewed pictures of the pair and read news items about them during 20 minutes at an internet café in the town where he lives.

He could have been seeking last-minute material for his wedding speech — a tradition for the father of the bride.

A source said: “Thomas lives in a fairly remote spot and his internet regularly goes down. He can find himself cut off from the outside world.

“He usually heads into town a few times each week when he loses connection — to check his emails and, since his daughter began dating Harry, look at the latest news.

“All this research might well help with his father of the bride speech.

“The locals all know him in there — they can’t believe his connection to royalty.

“He still speaks to Meghan on the phone and has had a few chats with Harry. But communication with England can be difficult.

“The little internet cafés he uses have become a lifeline for him to keep up to date.”

Thomas put on his glasses and scrolled through a gallery of pictures of Prince Harry, 33, and his TV star daughter.

The Sun told on Saturday how Thomas had been fitted for his wedding suit at a local tailor in Rosarito.

Royal aides confirmed that he would meet the Queen and Prince Philip — along with his ex-wife, Meghan’s mum Doria, 61 — in the week before the May 19 ceremony.
