Wearing her shades and beaming as she watched events at the five-day horse show held in the private grounds of Home Park, Windsor, The Queen seemed in good spirits as she was joined by Prince Philip who arrived in his Land Rover.

Her Majesty, 92, was dressed in a fuchsia pink coat with chic grey piping paired with a matching hat as she looked on.

Among the riders on Sunday was Lady Louise Windsor, 14, daughter of Edward and Sophie, Count and Countess of Wessex, who is said to be a keen horsewoman taking after her grandmother.

She arrived with her mum driving the horse and carriage.

Other Royals present were Princess Michael of Kent who captured the moment on her mobile while riding in a carriage behind her husband and The Queen's cousin Prince Michael of Kent.

The Duke of Edinburgh, 96, looked happy following recent surgery for a hip replacement as he drove onto the site.

The horse show is held in the grounds of Windsor Castle where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will wed on Saturday, May 19.

The annual show is one of the Queen's favourite equestrian events of the year and one of only a few times members of the public are allowed into the private area of the castle grounds.

Competitors take part in a range of events including show jumping, dressage and displays from The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery and DAKS Pony Club.

The show kicked-off in style on Wednesday with a win for The Queen as 11-year-old Whalton Highwayman, ridden by Kinvara Garner, 15, rode to victory in the Part Bred and Anglo Arab Championship.
