MEGHAN Markle will stay at the luxurious Cliveden House the night before she ties the knot with Prince Harry, it has been revealed.

The US actress will be joined by her mum Doria Ragland at the sprawling country estate - where rooms can cost up to £1,500 a night - before the big day at St George's Chapel at Windsor.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry will stay at Cowarth Park with his older brother and best man, Prince William.

The five-star Cliveden House will play host to Meghan for her last night before officially joining the royal family, with the 17th century mansion just 20 minutes from the chapel where the royal wedding will be held this Saturday.

The mansion was built in 1666 by the 2nd Duke of Buckingham, as a gift to his mistress, later becoming a luxurious award-winning hotel.

The National Trust's Cliveden Estate even offers up the aptly named Prince of Wales suite and is set on 376 acres of National Trust grounds, offering up stunning views of its grounds.

The hotel appears proud of its rich history of luxury and powerful guests, describing how it has hosted "powerful personalities, debaucherous parties and scandalous affairs" for more than 350 years.

The hotel even hosted the 1961 summer party where John Profumo met Christine Keeler - with the affair almost destroying Harold Macmillan's Toy government.

Photographs reveal the splendour of the hotel - with the luxurious rooms including king-sized beds surrounded with plush cushions and sofas.

It also offers up an elegant French Dining room for its guests.

Cowarth Park, where Harry will stay, is just as luxurious, offering the prince a relaxing oasis before the wedding of the year.

The iconic hotel is marketed as the "secret hideaway amongst rolling fields and ancient woodland".

Photographs show off the 18th century country house's glamorous facilities, with its interiors rebuilt in 2008 to become a hotel.

It is the only hotel in the UK that has its own polo grounds - a sport that Prince Harry is keen on.

It is also where he and Meghan Markle kissed after a polo game last year.

It was also the scene of his smooch with Queen Victoria actress Jenna Coleman, 32, after polo three years ago.

Harry, 33, will have a mini stag night with brother and best man William, 35, also staying at the 18th century country house. Rooms cost from £1,200 to £1,500 a night.

The extra detail of where the couple will spend the night before they marry comes just days before the extravagant event itself.

The US actress will have her reclusive father Thomas Markle Snr by her side on the big day, while her mother Doria Ragland is also expected to be at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Meghan won't have a maid of honour, with her bridesmaids and page boys instead all to be children.

Prince Harry will get his first glimpse of his bride-to-be in her wedding dress after she arrives at the chapel.

10 reasons why we love Meghan Markle

The couple will tie the knot at St George's Chapel, with hundreds of guests expected to head to Windsor in the hopes of catching a glimpse of the loved up pair.

St George's Chapel, completed in 1528, is set in the lower ward of Windsor Castle - one of the most famous and iconic landmarks of the British royal family.

Due to its setting within Horseshoe Cloisters and the Henry VIII gate, the chapel will also offer Harry, Meghan and their famous friends and family some privacy on what is sure to be a major global news event.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding will be held on Saturday 19 May 2018, Kensington Palace has announced
