The video starts off innocently with Amy going about her business, moving crates and carrying boxes.

But after a while the footage shows her flying down the flight of stairs with her arms outstretched in an attempt to cushion her landing.

And she told how she suffered with a fat foot, a dented shin and two burst knees following the trip.

Speaking today, Amy said: “It was only an hour and a half into my shift. I went downstairs to get some stock and came up, completely forgetting I had left the hatch open, and I put the stock in the shelf and turned round to walk back round to the front of the pub.

“That’s when I went flying down the stairs. I think it was about 10 or 11 foot drop.

“The video doesn’t do it justice as there’s a flag that cuts out the top of the stairs.

“I went to the hospital yesterday but nothing was broken thankfully, it could have been a lot worse. I’m still sore and covered in cuts and bruises. I’m very lucky.”
