HARRY and Meghan’s wedding ceremony today was a considerably more modest affair than Prince Williams’ seven years previously.
The newlyweds invited just over 600 to watch them tie the knot in St George’s chapel, while 1,900 saw Wills and Kate Middleton say “I do” at Westminster Abbey.
Heads of state from around the world, military figures and politicians all attended that ceremony that took place on April 29, 2011.
They are notable by their absence from Harry and Meghan’s big day in Windsor.
The couple have instead concentrated on inviting their family and close friends instead to share with them the special occasion.
Stars including David and Victoria Beckham and Elton John attended both weddings.
Their guestlist sheds a revealing light on the pair’s very different backgrounds.
