THE DUCHESS of Cornwall shared a special moment with Meghan Markle at Prince Charles' 70th birthday bash.
Camilla Parker-Bowles was spotted holding Meghan Markle's hand during the event and royal fans on Twitter are gushing over the footage and pictures.
Prince Charles' wife, who knows all too well the challenge of marrying into the royal family, reached out for Meg's hand as they greeted each other with a kiss - and then carried on holding it as they spoke.
She appeared to give it a supportive squeeze - and royal watchers picked up on the gesture as a sign of a blossoming friendship.
One tweeter even said they looked like "besties".
Another said: "Omg. My dreams have come true".

The Duchess of Cornwall, 70, was also seen giggling with her new daughter-in-law, 36, at the event when a bee began pestering Prince Harry as he addressed the crowd.
"So Happy for Charles and Camilla they really love Meghan and the contrary is obvious too" said one tweeter, admiring the images of the chuckling trio.
One twitter user described Meghan as Camilla's 'new ally'.
Another speculated Prince Charles and Camilla 'truly love' their new daughter-in-law.
The party was Meghan and Harry's since the royal wedding.
Prince Charles, who is next in line to the throne, had walked Meghan down the aisle in the absence of her father.
Author and body language expert Judi James described Meghan's birthday party behaviour as "coy" and "giggly".
She said: "She seems to be offering caring and reassurance to Harry after his birthday speech to his father but it's interesting to see her in this mode so soon after their wedding and suggests a very comfortable transition into her new role as a royal."
