AN ex-Boyzone star has told how he’s “haunted” by the murder of a French nanny by his ex-lover, who thought she was having an affair with him.

Twisted Sabrina Kouider and Ouissem Medouni imprisoned, tortured and killed Sophie Lionnet, 21, at their home near Wimbledon, South-West London.

They then burned her body on a bonfire, making it impossible to establish how she died.

The horrific abuse was motivated by their warped fantasy that she was in league with ex-boy band star Mark Walton.

Kouider convinced herself he was spying on her, having sex with the nanny and even extracting Medouni's semen to frame him for rape.

Speaking to the from his Hollywood home, Walton described his anguish at the fate of the victim he never met.

"When I saw that picture of Sophie and how scared and vulnerable and haunted she looks, and to think she was tortured because of me, that haunts me.

"The poor girl was telling the truth. She never met me.

"And yet she paid with her life because of those psychopaths.

"I think of her every day. I want them to know I carry their daughter's picture with me everywhere.

"I will never forget her. We never met but I will always pray for her and her parents."

Fashion designer Kouider, 35, and her banker husband Medouni, 40, denied murder but were found guilty on Thursday of what was described as a "folie a deux" – a shared psychosis.

Mum-of-two Kouider previously had a relationship with Walton and dragged Medouni into her bizarre obsession.

She reported the musician to cops more than 30 times over five years and was cautioned for wrongly branding him a paedo on a fake Facebook account.

Kouider teamed up with her on-off husband to interrogate Miss Lionnet, who she incorrectly claimed had been seduced by Walton's promises of fame.

Mum of French nanny Sophie Lionnet brutally murdered by Sabrina Kouider and Ouissem Medouni says they should be 'burnt at the stake like Joan of Arc'

She recorded a brutal interrogation session which reveals the level of abuse Sophie suffered.

In it Kouider shouts: "You’re making fun of me, are you? You’re making fun of me? You’re making fun of me?"

Terrified Sophie replies: "Stop it! Stop it okay", to which Koudier says: "Okay? …don’t make fun of me! No sweet talk!"

Addressing Medouni, she adds: "Because I told you she’s a monster. You have a monster there! I thought you were someone good!"

In another, deranged Koudier challenges Sophie to reveal the house where she has been sleeping with her ex.

She shouts: "Open your f***ing mouth. Where is the house?"

Medouni told firefighters responding to reports of pungent smoke in September last year that he was burning a sheep.

But police discovered the charred remains were those of Miss Lionnet.

Kouider and Medouni will be sentenced at the Old Bailey on June 26.
