NORTH Koreans see their despotic leader as a VAMPIRE who sucks up all their money - but think Donald Trump is just as bad.

They reveal those who cross ruthless Kim Jong-un face the certainty of a gruesome execution or a future in one of his death camps.

But many North Koreans say AMERICA is also to blame for the awful conditions they have to endure on a daily basis.

The claims come after the found two brave citizens ready to talk about life in the rogue state.

The pair - speaking under assumed identities - also reveal Kim's henchmen regularly "frame" innocents just to impress their boss.

By speaking out, market trader Sun Hui knows she is putting her life at risk and those of her family and friends.

"Mostly, people criticise Kim Jong-un for being a businessman," she revealed.

"People say that he acts the same as us, but takes away our money...the little man uses his head to suck up money like a little vampire.

However, despite Kim's cruel regime, many "brainwashed" North Koreans think America and Trump are no better.

"We say the reason for us living in poverty is because America split us and sealed us off (from South Korea)," said

BBC journalists spent months working covertly to win the trust of the North Korean citizens who took part in their expose.

If the regime found out about Sun Hui's real identity, she would face death by anti-aircraft fire.

And she may not be the only one to be punished - three generations of her family could also be banged away in prison.

She said: "Here there are a lot of government captures. People are arrested and taken away.

"People cannot survive in the prison camps. They unconditionally beat you. They starve you while you do extreme labour.

"Once you go there you are no longer a citizen. I think this terror is what keep's society going."

Another North Korean backed up market trader Sun Hui's shocking claims.

Chol Ho, a member of the country's military, said: "Sometime the state security department gets people by calling them spies.

"They make up stories for their own performance.

"Sometimes people get caught by the state security department, the Bowibu, for saying the wrong things. People do suddenly disappear."

Just watching films and TV shows smuggled in from abroad can lead to more than 10 years in the hard labour camps.

Those that "disappear" often end up in the country's prison camps - where detainees are tortured, raped and forced to dig their own graves.

A single camp can hold as many as 20,000 inmates, according to a recent report from Amnesty International.

News that the country is on the verge of historic weapons talk with the US is clearly just filtering through to the people.

"I've heard at the market that the president of the US is coming," Sun Hui told the BBC

"People don't know much about the meeting," she continues, "but everyone dislikes America".
