A REMARKABLE photograph captures the Queen surrounded by thousands of guests at the annual Garden Party - can you see her among the crowds?
Queen Elizabeth II appeared in high spirits smiling throughout the event at Buckingham Palace this afternoon.
At least 8,000 were said to have been invited to the event in recognition for their positive contribution to their local communities.
The party started at 4pm when The Royal Family gathered on the West Terrace for the National Anthem.
Prince William and Princess Eugenie joined the 92-year-old monarch to help her entertain all her guests.
But lucky members of the public were also treated to performances from the Band of the Household Calvary and the Band of Royal Logistics Corps.
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra also made an appearance to mingle with all invited.
Kate Middleton is currently on maternity leave, following the birth of Prince Louis.
The Queen not only held onto a smile during the party, she firmly clutched her navy blue umbrella throughout the event.
It appeared she was warned of heavy downpours expected to drench the nation today.
Queen Elizabeth looked extravagant in a turquoise and teal coat dress, and looked in very high spirits behind her trendy pair of sunglasses.

Around 27,000 cups of tea, 20,000 sandwiches and 20,000 slices of cake were consumed in the royal grounds this afternoon.
Garden parties at the palace have been hosted since the 1860s, but this is the Queen's second time hosting.
