Where is Sentosa Island?
Sentosa Island is a quarter-mile off the coast of Singapore.
It lies a quarter of a mile off the coast of Singapore's main island.
A 300-metre causeway bridge links the two islands.
It is known for its high-end beach hotels, golf courses and amusement parks.
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders confirmed the summit was to take place at the five-star Capella Hotel.
But the two leaders are staying elsewhere.
Trump will stay at Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore.
However the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, is staying at the St Regis Singapore.
Why are Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un meeting at the Capella Hotel?
Capella Hotel is known for luxury amenities, impeccable service and, above all, privacy for business and leisure.
Two of the hotel's buildings were built in the 1880s for British officers based on the island.
It's website says it offers 24,500 square feet of meeting and function space.

Kim vowed to destroy all his nukes following the Singapore summit with Trump saying the process would start "very quickly" on the denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula.
Prior to the historical meeting, workers were painting, extra security was in place and red carpets were being rolled out at the hotel's two entrances.
