Seven Iraqi migrants were caught wrapped in aluminium foil in bid to dodge X-ray scanner

SEVEN Iraqi migrants were caught wrapped in aluminium foil in an attempt to thwart X-ray detectors at a port.

The seven refugees were held in Istanbul, Turkey, trying to smuggle themselves into Italy.

The men were in a shipping container on a truck meant to be carrying car parts.

Officials realised there was an unusual weight in the container as it went through the scanner.

They spotted feet and arms coming out of the foil during a search of the container.

The driver and group were detained by immigration officials.
