Can you spot the deadly copperhead snake lurking under the leaves?

THIS picture is hiding one of the world's deadly snakes... can you spot it?

There's a copperhead snake somewhere on the ground, a reptile native to North American and often found in parts of the country that get hot weather.

Copperhead snakes are often the same grey-brown colour as the ground they slither over, so baron areas like this can often become a dangerous trap for humans.

This venomous snake is famous for having bitten more humans than any other species.

They are the most  commonly seen snake in North America, and to make matters even more terrifying - they are the most likely to bite.

However, the copperhead snake's venom is the least toxic of its species, so it very rarely kills.

It does cause horrible symptoms such as strong pain, vomiting, nausea, blurred vision, and numbness in the face and limbs.

The copperhead is a medium-sized snake, averaging two to three feet in length.

If you're still haven't trouble spotting it, their bodies are usually distinctly patterned with brown or reddish-brown cross-bands.

Last year, Mark Pelley, the 'Snake Hunter' on social media, found a poisonous copperhead snake nestled in the grass in Australia near a school.

He said anyone who comes across a snake should not touch the animal under any circumstances - instead they should contact a licensed catcher.

But don't worry, you're not likely to come across many deadly snakes in the UK.

The adder is the only venomous snake that's native to Britain - and it will only attack as a last resort.

Just be careful not to step on one.
