Ascot gets the Royal treatment for a second day as Queen is joined by Prince Charles and Camilla
THE Royals have descended on Ascot for the second day in the row as The Queen was joined by Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
Her majesty arrived at the racecourse at the head of the royal procession, accompanied by Princess Alexandra.
Charles rode in the second carriage alongside Camilla.
A third carriage contained Lord and Lady Vestey.
Onlookers burst into applause as the procession made its way into the Parade Ring.
And bookies took another bath today on the colour of The Queen’s hat.
Blue was the punter’s runaway favourite and they were proved right when her majesty arrived in a powder blue Stewart Parvin ensemble and matching hat by Rachel Trevor-Morgan.
Later she was seen sporting sunglasses - a precaution she has recently adopted after undergoing surgery to remove a cataract in May.
It came as Sir Mo Farah made his first appearance at the meeting alongside wife Tania.
The long distance runner - who won four Olympic golds presented prizes for the first race of the day, the Queen Mary Stakes.
He said: "I'm just here to enjoy the racing, I haven't been here before but I'm looking forward to it."
Also in attendance was Declan Donelly and pregnant wife Ali Astal - who looked happy and relaxed amid the drama surrounding Ant McPartlin.
She showed off her baby bump in a pretty pink flowery dress while Dec looked dapper in his three piece suit.
Other stars there included Kirsty Gallagher and Made In Chelsea’s Georgia Toffolo.
Yesterday Meghan Markle made her debut appearance at the prestigious Berkshire race course.
Husband Harry looked less than impressed when cheeky jockey Frankie Dettori planted a kiss on her hand.
The diminutive Italian won the St James's Palace Stakes on horse Without Parole on the first of the five-day event.

And when the royal newlyweds presented the confident jockey with the race trophy, Dettori leaned down and pecked a smiling Meghan on the hand.
Harry looked stony-faced as the 47-year-old athlete kissed his wife before wagging his finger at the 5ft4inch sportsman who received an honorary MBE in 2000.
Boozy punters knocked back the bubbly as the event got into full swing.
