Passports stolen from Brits are being sold to jihadis
GANGS are stealing passports from holiday Brits or those working abroad and selling them to illegal migrants and even jihadis, an investigation found.
Some UK citizens are also allegedly peddling passports so they can be used by migrants.
The Daily Mail found it was possible to buy a stolen UK passport for just £2,500 in Turkey and Greece.
Fake EU identity cards used to enter the UK are also being made to order.
Terrorism expert David Lowe said: “Getting a passport is like winning the lottery for criminals.
“It is a significant concern with IS fighters returning here.
