DONALD Trump is set to welcome the daredevil Red Arrows to America, we can reveal.
The elite team will travel to the US for displays as early as next year to promote post-Brexit Britain.
Officials believe the Red Arrows team can help sell post-Brexit Britain when they go on tour to the US.
Showpiece RAF pilots would tour the country putting on aerobatic displays at major events.
Officials believe the team, famous for their diamond nine formation, can help sell the UK abroad.
The decision to send the top guns to the US is likely to be discussed by UK-US officials during President Trump’s visit this week.
A source said: “The Red Arrows embodies everything that is great about Britain.
“The tour comes at a vital time for global Britain as we try and secure an exciting new trade deal with the US.”
Talks are on-going in Whitehall about the visit which could be announced as early as this week.
The military jets carried out an 8,000 mile tour of the Middle East last year performing in Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
It was part of the government’s on-going ‘Great Britain’ campaign.
It has also emerged that Mr Trump will visit the Royal Military Academy, in Sandhurst, Berkshire, to meet members of the special forces and officer cadets on Friday.

However, he will arrive in the UK on Air Force One on Thursday following a NATO summit in Brussels.
Trump and wife Melania will be guests of honour at a dinner that evening at Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill, with around 100 business leaders.
Trump will visit the PM’s Chequers country residence on Friday for a working lunch before he is joined by his wife to meet the Queen at Windsor Castle.
The couple will fly to Scotland that evening for the weekend before he travels on to Finland for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
