A WOMAN had an amazing escape when she was shot at three times at point blank range by a gunman in Lawless London.
Terrifying CCTV footage shows the would-be assassin run up to the vehicle and open fire through the window during morning rush-hour.
Amazingly the woman, 51, who was sat in her car at traffic lights on her way to work, escaped injury as all three bullets missed.
One of the bullets smashed a window and another two flew passed her.
Detectives are hunting the masked gunman following the attempted execution in Edgware, North West London at 8.40am on May 14.
The suspect fled the scene on foot before jumping in a getaway vehicle heading towards Queensbury Station.
Cops are treating the attack as attempted murder and released the footage today as the gunman remains at large.
The suspect is described as dark-skinned, 5ft 8in and of medium build.
His face was partially covered with a balaclava and he was wearing a dark coloured zip up tracksuit top and bottoms.
The shooting on the junction between Beverley Drive and Stag Lane is the latest attack in Lawless London.
Violence has continued to grip the capital amid a shocking rise in shootings and stabbings.
Last month Mayor of London Sadiq Khan admitted he was responsible for the surge in violent crime in the capital but refused to say sorry.

This is a 1,000 per cent rise in just three years.
As well as moped gang attacks, the capital has seen a sharp rise in the number of stabbings and shootings.
Met Police statistics showed a five per cent rise in violent crime in the past year.
The figures show 35 youth homicides in the last 12 months - up 25 per cent - a surge in the rate of muggings of 30 per cent, and an 18 per cent rise in knife crime offences.
Since the turn of the year more than 60 people have been murdered on the streets of London - which has seen the capital overtake New York.
Officers from the Met’s Trident and Area Crime Command are investigating the shooting in Edgware.
Detective Inspector Tom Williams, of the Metropolitan Police Service, said: “This was an outrageous and brazen attack that happened in the middle of rush hour on a Monday morning, in which luckily, no one was injured.
“Firearms have absolutely no place on London’s streets and we are carrying out a full and thorough investigation into locating this man and making sure that he appears before the courts.
"We are following numerous leads, but are also appealing for anyone with any information to contact us as soon as possible.
“On this occasion, no one was physically harmed, but no doubt the traumatic experience will affect the victim for years to come.”
