What is Matt Hancock's voting record?

According to parliamentary monitoring website , Matt Hancock has voted in favour of:

  • Cutting pharmacy funding
  • Reforming the NHS so GPs buy services on behalf of patients
  • Reducing spending on welfare benefits
  • Not paying higher benefits over long periods for those unable to work resulting from illness or disability
  • Equal gay rights
  • Smoking bans
  • Allowing same sex marriage
  • Allowing terminally ill people to be given assistance to end their life
  • The university tuition fee increase to £9,000 per year
  • Stricter asylum system
  • Mass surveillance of people's communications and activities

The MP has voted against:

  • An investigation into the Iraq war
  • The right for EU nationals already living in the UK to stay
  • Raising welfare benefits
  • Spending money to create guaranteed jobs for young people

How did he vote on Brexit?

Mr Hancock voted in favour of the European Union referendum, but voted to Remain in the EU.
