THE body of a 14-year-old boy has been recovered from a reservoir in Scotland.
Cops locked down Gleniffer Braes Country Park, in Paisley, yesterday evening after reports of a teenager getting into trouble in the water.
His body was found in the reservoir less than three hours later.
A post mortem has still to take place to establish the cause of death.
The lad's family are aware.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Around 5.35 pm on Tuesday, July 17, police were called to Glenburn Reservoir, Braehead Rd, Paisley, following a report that a teenage boy had gone into the water.
"Following a search, emergency services recovered the body of a 14 year-old boy from the water around 8.10 pm.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
