Novichok victim Charlie Rowley released from hospital days after partner Dawn Sturgess died

NOVICHOK victim Charlie Rowley has been released from hospital - just days after partner Dawn Sturgess was killed by the deadly nerve agent.
The pair were exposed to the deadly nerve agent in Amesbury, Wiltshire, at the end of last month, with Dawn dying eight days later.
Salisbury District Hospital Director of Nursing Lorna Wilkinson said: "I am pleased to confirm that earlier today, Charlie Rowley was discharged from hospital.
"Charlie has been through an appalling experience most of us could never imagine.
"Today is a very welcome milestone in his recovery and all of us here at Salisbury Hospital wish him well as he continues to get better.
"The progress he has made is a testament to the remarkable clinical team who have worked tirelessly, supported by brilliant behind the scenes staff.
Brother Matthew Rowley said: "I don't know if they will release where he is. I don't think he is 100 per cent.
"I found out about it an hour ago from a reporter. I was surprised they [the hospital] didn't tell me.
"I don't know how it works after he's released, I'm going to wait for the police to tell me.
"It is a big thing. It's been awful. I just hope he's comfortable, wherever he is."
It is believed Dawn, 44 was exposed to at least 10 times the amount of nerve agent used on ex-KGB colnel Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia.
Cops are probing a theory the poison was in a perfume bottle discarded by the Russian assassins.
Wiltshire Police Chief Constable Kier Pritchard welcomed the news and paid tribute to hospital staff and emergency services for their "outstanding" care.
He said: "On behalf of all my officers, staff and volunteers, we welcome today's news that Charlie Rowley has been discharged from Salisbury District hospital. We wish him the best with his ongoing recovery.

He also said that Wiltshire Police will ensure Mr Rowley receives continued support in his "ongoing recovery".
