Brother Matthew Rowley said: “I don’t know if they will release where he is. I don’t think he is 100 per cent.

“I found out about it an hour ago from a reporter. I was surprised they [the hospital] didn’t tell me.

“I don’t know how it works after he’s released, I’m going to wait for the police to tell me.

“It is a big thing. It’s been awful. I just hope he’s comfortable, wherever he is.”
