Who is Omarosa Manigault Newman?
Omarosa Manigault is the latest person in Donald Trump’s camp to fall out with the maverick president and has written a book she claims is inside knowledge of the White House and has even made claims the president made a racial slur.
The 44-year-old is a former reality TV star who became a White House political aide after appearing on the Apprentice of which Trump was the boss.
She has been a part of Donald's world for some 15 years.
Newman also contends in her new book that she was offered a “hush-money” contract with the Trump re-election campaign paying $15,000 (£11,000) a month for her silence.
What is her Donald Trump recording?
The brash and outspoken aide told NBC's "Meet the Press" that she surreptitiously recorded a number of conversations in the White House for her own protection.
The show aired portions of a recording of her firing by Kelly in the high-security Situation Room.
Critics have denounced the recordings as a serious breach of ethics and security.
The voice on the recording released Monday appears to be Trump's.
The White House has not denied it, but this has not independently verified it is the president.
Newman's claims come after the President's former lawyer Michael Cohen claimed to have secretly recorded Trump discussing hush money payments to alleged Playboy mistress Karen McDougal.
Cohen recently admitted paying porn star Stormy Daniels £92,000 days before the US election in 2016.
She claims the payment was hush money – to stop her being interviewed about her alleged affair with the now US President.
Daniels, 39, real name Stephanie Clifford, alleges that she slept with Trump following a celebrity golf tournament in Nevada in 2006.
On August 17 it was reported that the adult film star pulled out of Celebrity Big Brother at the last minute.
This was because of a row with producers who were pressuring her to act in a way she felt uncomfortable with, her lawyer has said.
What has Donald Trump said about this?
Trump lashed out at her, saying his former adviser "got fired for the last time."
On Twitter, Trump dubbed her "wacky" and said Chief of Staff John Kelly called her a "loser & nothing but problems".
He added: "I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me - until she got fired!"
Cheryl Shavers, an ex-under secretary for technology administration, has said Omarosa was "unqualified and disruptive," adding, "I had her removed."
Trump's campaign team, meanwhile, have launched legal action, alleging she breached her contract.
