Woman rushed to hospital after being found seriously hurt in Glasgow’s West End as cops and helicopter swoop on scene

A WOMAN was rushed to hospital with "serious injuries" after an incident in the West End of Glasgow sparked a huge police response.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing cops and a helicopter swarm the area in Jordanhill after the alarm was raised at 6.30pm on Wednesday evening.
Officers confirmed that they were called out to Southbrae Gardens after reports of a woman being seriously injured.
She was rushed to hospital in Glasgow for treatment.
And medics described her condition as serious last night.
Now cops are working on investigating what happened to the woman.

A spokesman said: "Police were called at 6.30pm after reports that a woman was suffering from serious injuries in a house in Southbrae Gardens in Jordanhill.
"She has been taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where her condition is described as serious.
"Officers are at the scene and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident."
