CHARITY shops are high street havens for hidden records, limited edition books and the odd treasured family heirloom.
But for every valuable gem there can be a mountain of tat to trawl through, including irksome and oftentimes quite offensive amateur art.

One of the canvases features Sir Francis Drake stood in the ocean with water up to his ankles, posing next to his ship the Golden Hind (which is smaller than him).
Another depicts a lingerie-clad woman on a settee, legs splayed open whilst...erm...just see for yourself.
