Jewish MPs hire bodyguards for Labour conference amid anti-Semitism crisis

LABOUR’S anti-Semitism crisis has got so bad its Jewish MPs will be given bodyguards at the party conference next month.

They have been a target of abuse from hard-left activists over the scandal.

Jewish Labour MP Luciana Berger was deluged with hate messages for saying she felt “unwelcome” in her own party following Jeremy Corbyn’s “inexcusable” slur on British Zionists.
The Jewish Labour Movement is in talks with the Community Security Trust, responsible for defending the Jewish community in the UK, over providing bodyguards at the Liverpool conference.

A source said: “The CST is reporting back with a full security assessment.

"There is a real concern about safety.”

WHEN will Labour moderates realise their party is beyond repair?

Jewish Labour MPs need bodyguards for the party conference next month. There is a backlog of anti-Semitism complaints that could take YEARS to probe. And their leader is an anti-Semitic IRA-apologist, who counts the former BNP leader and the KKK among his cheerleaders.

By staying in the party, Labour MPs signal that they want Corbyn to be PM.

No amount of tribal loyalty can make them think that is a good idea.

BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg was last year given a bodyguard after a deluge of sexist abuse from Corbyn supporters amid anti-Labour bias claims.

The leader faces a humiliating probe by his own party after being reported to its disciplinary panel by the Labour Against Anti-Semitism group.

It could even lead to him being suspended from Labour.

He claimed British Zionists had “no sense of English irony” at an event in 2013. Meanwhile, it emerged a group that wants to abolish prisons will be at an event hosted by Corbyn supporters’ organisation Momentum.

Jeremy Corbyn forced to deny he wants to crack down on press because he’s angry about Labour anti-Semitism scandal
