Two Russian spy suspects spent more than 55 hours travelling around the UK carrying deadly Novichok

TWO Russian spies spent more than 55 hours in the UK and travelled to major UK tourist sites armed with deadly Novichok.

Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov, who are aged around 40, have been named following the poisoning of former spy Sergei Skripal, 67, and his daughter Yulia, 33.

Cops sensationally named them this morning and provided a detailed timeline of their movements after they landed at Gatwick Airport on Friday, March 2.

Just two days later, officers believe they travelled to Salisbury and sprayed Mr Skripal’s front door with the nerve agent.

Here, we detail their chilling movements...

Friday, March 2

3pm: Both spy suspects touch down at Gatwick Airport after boarding Aeroflot flight SU2588 in Moscow. Cops believe they travelled under aliases.

They then make arrangements to travel into central London and have plans to stay in a hotel.

5.40pm: Alexander and Ruslan arrive at London Victoria station after boarding a train from Gatwick Airport.

6pm: They then travel on public transport and arrive at Waterloo station.

7pm: The pair then make their way to the City Stay Hotel in Bow Row, East London, where they stay overnight.

Saturday, March 3

11.45am: They arrive at Waterloo station after using taking a Tube from East London and board a train to Salisbury.

2.25pm: The spies then get off the train in Wiltshire and spend almost two hours in the city.

4.10pm: Both Alexander and Ruslan then get on a train and make their way back to London.

8.05pm: They arrive in Bow, East London, and spend another night in the City Stay Hotel.

Sunday, March 4

8.05am: The pair arrive at Waterloo after making the same Tube journey from the hotel and board a train to Salisbury.

11.48am: The spies then arrive in Salisbury and are seen on CCTV leaving the train station.

11.58am: CCTV footage shows them near Mr Skripal’s home and cops believe this is when they contaminated his front door with the nerve agent.

1.50pm: The pair are spotted on CCTV back at Salisbury train station.

4.45pm: They then arrive back at London Waterloo after spending the day in Salisbury.

6.30pm: They get on a Tube and head towards London Heathrow Airport.

10.30pm: Alexander and Ruslan then board Aeroflot flight SU2585 to Moscow and cops believe they have not returned to the UK after touching down in Russia.

Today police revealed they have put out a European Arrest Warrant for Petrov and Boshirov.

It also emerged cops found traces of Novichok in the City Stay Hotel almost two months after the failed hit.

The nerve agent was brought into the UK in a fake Nina Ricci perfume bottle. 

The bottle was discovered in a charity bin by poisoning victim Charlie Rowley, who gave it to his partner Dawn Sturgess.

She later died from exposure to Novichok, while he is still recovering in hospital.
