Bonking Boris is ‘all mouth and no trousers’, Lib Dems say in dig at Brexiteer’s love life

Tom Brake made the jibe in his speech at the Liberal Democrats conference

BORIS Johnson is “all mouth and trousers”, the Lib Dems said today in a risqué dig at the top Brexiteer’s personal troubles.

MP Tom Brake used his party conference speech to mock the former Foreign Secretary over his reputation for sleeping around.

The jibe came as he called for Brexit to be overturned and claimed staying in the EU would SAVE Britain £3billion.

Speaking in Brighton Mr Brake, the party’s Brexit spokesman, said Mr Johnson is “a man of many words, but no Brexit plan. All mouth and no trousers.”

He added: “For Boris, there has always only been one agenda – the one that puts the blonde bombshell, with the so-carefully manicured tousled hair – into No 10.

“Nothing is to get in the way of that preening ambition. Truth, principle, loyalty, friendship, all are expendable, as long as he secures the keys to that famous shiny black door.”

Mr Brake also mocked David Davis, calling him “Inaction Man” for failing to secure a Brexit deal before he resigned over the summer.

The Lib Dems are campaigning for a second referendum which would overturn the result of the 2016 vote.

Today Mr Brake claimed the party had led the way in making the prospect of a fresh referendum much more likely than it used to be.

He said: “We have done the heavy lifting in this campaign. We have taken the flak for a policy which was on the fringes two years ago, and now, is mainstream.”

The MP called on Theresa May to delay our formal departure from the EU so there is time to hold a referendum on the terms of the Brexit deal.
