A FED-UP motorist appears to fall victim to pranksters with a megaphone - who convince him a series of petrol pumps were all out of order.

He is filmed moving his car FOUR times ready to fill up only to be frustrated by PA-style announcements telling him no fuel is available.

Two brothers videoed the caper from their hiding place next to a busy Sainsbury's garage in Westhoughton, Greater Manchester.

Footage shows a grey-haired man preparing to fill up his Nissan Juke when a megaphone voice tells him: "Pump five is out of order".

The pranksters can be heard giggling as the driver gets back in his car and manoeuvres alongside pump 11.

Just as he is about to lift the nozzle, the voice says: "Sorry about this, pump 11 is also out of order."

The motorist looks more and more annoyed as he tries again at pumps three and one - and each time is told it won't work.

At the last attempt the voice says: "Pump one. There's only diesel at pump one. Thank you."

Apparently exasperated, he gives up and goes inside the shop to ask what is going on.

One of the jubilant pranksters cheers and says: "He's going in! Yay!"

The Sun Online has not been able to independently verify the footage.

It was posted online by a user who said: "My brother and I, whose voice is on the megaphone are always pranking people, but we never video any, so this time we thought we would and see what happens.

"We never thought for one minute it would take off like it has."

In March, a prankster filmed the moment he tricked an Asda worker into reading out a rude message on the shop tannoy.
