However when they returned to their vehicle a note was left on the windscreen which read: "Thanks for blocking an entrance."

The note asked if they could not have moved "10 yards forward???!!"

South Western Ambulance Service told  "We want to educate people as to why the ambulance was there.

They added: "We try hard not to block people in as we know it can be frustrating.

"In an emergency every second counts and it's not always possible to park in the most convenient places."

Last month a homeowner slammed paramedics for blocking their drive for 45 minutes as the crews desperately tried to save someone's life.

The rude note was left on the ambulance - telling them to "have consideration" when they parked.

However, others have been more understanding, with one leaving a kind note and even money for coffee on an ambulance windscreen.

Paramedics who had an abusive note left on their ambulance speak out

In July a jobsworth warden sparked outrage after issuing a parking ticket while paramedics ran into a Cheshire Tesco to grab a bottle of water on their first break in eight hours.

A North West Ambulance spokeswoman told The Sun Online: “We are aware of the video circulating on social media showing a traffic warden issuing a ticket to one of our ambulance crews in Kingsmead, Cheshire.

“As yet, we have not received notification of a parking fine and should we do so, it will be dealt with through the usual process.”
