Horrific attempt to dive into a swimming pool from a roof ends in a spectacular faceplant
Painful-looking video shows the moment a roof-top diver mistimes his plunge and slams against the concrete below
A DAREDEVIL stunt went dramatically wrong for a man who smashed headfirst onto concrete while trying to leap into a pool from a roof.
Footage of the unidentified man leaves viewers wincing as he misses the water by inches, and his body slams the ground.
It is not as yet known where or when the stomach-churning footage – shared on social media – was filmed, or what injuries he suffered.
The video shows a half-naked man standing on the roof of a changing room, after climbing up a ladder.
Pals appear unfazed as he lines himself up for the jump with one even talking casually on his mobile phone.
But as the man walks down towards the gutter, with his head tipping forward, he raises his arms and plunges too soon.
Arms flailing in the air, the wannabe diver smashes through the guttering and lands on all fours while his head bounces on the hard concrete surrounding the swimming pool.
The footage blurs as those watching and filming his painful stunt yell out and rush to help the man, who appears to be knocked out as a result.
The six-second video has been widely shared on social media in recent days.
