Who is Tracey Kurland?
Tracey Kurland, 32, is a Los Angeles native and the daughter of a multi-millionaire businessman.
She studied for a bachelor of arts in communication at the University of Southern California and graduated in 2008.
Tracey then completed her master of science in nutrition education at the Teachers College of Columbia University, New York city, in 2014.
Kurland has worked as a registered dietitian at The Renfrew Center in Los Angeles since January 2015.
According to its website, the organisation is the United States’ first residential eating disorder facility and has helped more than 75,000 adolescent girls and women with eating disorders.
It has been operating since 1985 and now has 19 locations across the country.
When did Tracey and Trevor get married?
In October 2018 it was reported that Tracey had tied the knot with Trevor Engelson.
The heiress, worth $281million, wed Meghan Markle‘s ex just five months after the now pregnant Duchess of Sussex wed Prince Harry.
The couple had been dating for a year.
The happy couple got hitched in a low key wedding at a private home in exclusive Hidden Hills, California, reports.
In Instagram pictures the bride can be seen wearing an off-the-shoulder, midi length white dress, with groom Trevor in a grey suit, pink shirt and no tie.
They married on Saturday, October 6.
Trevor is a film producer and is most famous for the 9/11 romance movie Remember Me, starring Robert Pattinson.
Trevor wed first wife Meghan in 2011 but they divorced in 2013.
Who is Tracey’s multi-millionaire father?
Tracey’s father Stanford Kurland was the second-most senior executive at mortgage lender Countrywide, until he left in 2006, selling $200million in stock options, the Daily Mail reports.
Two years later the company merged with Bank of America in the 2008 financial crisis, and was widely blamed for the toxic mortgage debts which set off the market’s implosion.
Kurland helped set up another mortgage lender, PennyMac, in the wake of the crisis and stood down as its CEO in 2016.
He lives with Tracey’s mother Sheila in the Hidden Hills area of Los Angeles, where the wedding to Engelson took place though it’s unclear if the ceremony took place at the family home.
