BORIS Johnson trashed the PM’s Brexit plan as a “non-starter” last night and warned it would be Britain’s biggest humiliation in 60 years.
The former Foreign Secretary declared: “It is mortifying enough to see our country set on the way to dismemberment - it is worse still actively to acquiesce in it.”
He warned that Britain would be heading for “colony status” with laws imposed on us from outside unless we broke off all customs ties with the EU.
That would be the consequcnes of agreeing to open-ended membership of the customs union as part of our Brexit terms.
