Dad jailed for raping his newborn daughter and breaking her ribs in ‘meth-induced haze’

A DAD has been jailed for 244 years for raping his newborn baby girl in a meth-fuelled haze.

With the inmate’s testimony, Medina was tried for the attack and sentenced to three 80-year sentences.

He was found guilty of aggravated sexual assault of a child younger than six, along with two counts of injury to a child and two counts of endangering a child.

Cops rushed to a house in Waco, Texas, back in 2014 after receiving reports of physical abuse on the child.

They found Medina at the house, where he admitted to having used the powerful drug methamphetamine two days before they arrived.

The girl’s mother, Lisa Montoya, was charged with two counts of endangering a child for not reporting the abuse

He said that he shook his baby daughter and squeezed her ribs and legs causing them to break and covering her in bruises.

Medina also said that he would crush the girl’s body against him when he was upset with her mother.

The baby’s broken bones were found to be in different stages of healing, suggesting the abuse had gone on for weeks.

Medina was charged for aggravated sexual assault of a child in March this year, while the child’s mother Lisa Montoya was also charged with abandoning/endangering a child.

She was accused of putting a child in danger by not reporting the abuse that Medina inflicted on the couple’s daughter.

An unrelated family has now adopted the victim and her two siblings according to prosecutor Gabirelle Massey.

Medina will have to serve at least the first 80 years of his sentence before he is eligible for parole.

Assistant District Attorney Gabrielle Massey pushed for a life sentence from the jury in the trial.

She said: “What more horrific of a crime could there be for a man who is supposed to love and protect the life he brought into this world, and instead, he shatters her body in sick sexual fulfilment?”
