Katie Piper is the latest celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing, losing out to Charles Venn in tonight’s dance off

She was left fighting for life after obsessive steroid-fuelled martial arts fan ex Daniel Lynch arranged for Sylvestre to throw the corrosive liquid in March 2008.

In court, Lynch and Sylvestre were told by Judge Nicholas Browne QC they were “the face of pure evil”.

Katie, 35, had to wear a plastic mask after the 2008 attack and needed 40 operations to treat her burns.

Last week she revealed she is using medication to “stay calm” after finding out Sylvestre was being released from jail – on her birthday.

She shared an inspiring message on Instagram after he was let loose and wrote: “Go within every day and find the inner strength so that the world will not blow your candle out.”

Katie became the latest celebrity to leave Strictly on Saturday and fans were furious after she was sent home while disgraced pair Seann Walsh and Katya Jones advanced following their drunken snog behind their partners’ backs.
