What is the People's Vote?

The group is campaigning for a “final say on the Brexit deal”, saying it's "the only way forward".

The People's Vote website explains supporters want to tell the government MPs should "trust the people, not Boris Johnson, to solve the Brexit crisis.

"The only way to break the deadlock in Parliament... is to give the people the final say."

Margaret Beckett, co-chair of the group's political committee, has accused Mr Johnson of "using every trick in the book to force his destructive Brexit on the country.

"His number one focus will be on getting a deal with Donald Trump, not on protecting the low paid or the vulnerable.

"It is nothing like anything we were promised in 2016."

The grassroots campaign was launched at the Electric Ballroom in Camden, London, on April 15, 2018, and is supported by Open Britain, the European Movement UK and Britain for Europe, among others.

MPs Chuka Umunna, Anna Sobry, Layla Moran and Caroline Lucas as well as comedian Andy Parsons and Sir Patrick Stewart attended the launch of the campaign.

More than 700,000 Remainers took part in a People's Voice march demanding a second vote on staying in the European Union in the capital last October.

What are their rallies about?

A series of People’s Vote "Let us be heard" rallies were held in towns and cities across the UK in summer "where people from all walks of life demanded the right to a final say on Brexit".

The People's Vote website says: "It's now clear that this is a crisis that cannot be settled by our prime minister or his government. It can only be settled by us, the people.

"His Brexit crisis has now come down to a simple question about whether we live in a democracy: can we allow Boris Johnson to force No Deal — or another vicious form of Brexit — on our country, without all of us having our voice heard?"

Today, crowds will assemble in Park Lane at noon before marching through London, close to Green Park and Buckingham Palace, to Parliament Square, to hear speeches.

A fleet of coaches has been booked by grassroots campaigners across Scotland to transport people from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and Aberdeen.

What's happened so far?

The People's Vote march for a Final Say on Britain swarmed SW1 as MPs debated the deal in the House of Commons.

One group of protesters was seen pulling a float depicting Dominic Cummings using Boris as a puppet.

Over £500,000 was donated in support of the protest by Saturday morning.

The organisers are asking Brits to sign a letter demanding a "chance to check" a final Brexit deal.

In an email to supporters this morning, Shadow Brexit secretary Sir Keir Starmer said the petition "asks them to honour our shared democratic values, it asks them not to turn away from us now and deny us the chance for a final say.

Labour Mayor of London Sadiq Khan added: "I'll be joining hundreds of thousands of people in London to make sure our message is heard loud and clear over the jeers and sneers in the House of Commons."

Liberal Democrat MP Luciana Berger also told voters to "let the Prime Minister know what you think".

People's Vote organisers are also asking people to sign a letter to Boris Johnson, EU leaders, MPs, and MEPs, asking them to allow "the chance to check whether we want to proceed with Brexit".
