THIS is the moment retail tycoon Sir Philip Green was captured having an angry scuffle with a photographer in Cannes .

The billionaire snapped after the photographer took pictures of him jogging down the promenade during the Film Festival in May last year.

One year later, in May 2017, Sir Philip was involved in another alleged altercation - this time with a photographer - in Cannes, France

But footage has emerged after the Topshop owner was yesterday unmaksed as the man behind a gagging order over harassment and bullying claims.

Sir Philip is claimed to have approached the man and ripped his earphones out, before informing him that he was calling the police while making attempts to grab his camera.

The photographer, speaking to The Sun Online, claimed: "For my own safety I pulled my iPhone out to film the incident for protection.

"He then said he was going to call the police while he then proceeded to jab his fingers in my face while he tried to grab the iPhone and then my professional camera.

"Once he had his hands on my camera he then used the weight of it to elbow me in the mouth.

"He cut my lip open and somehow ended up ripping one of my fingernail off. He got on his satellite phone and called for a tender to come and meet him.

The photographer said: 'Had he have asked in a civil manner I would have just deleted the pictures'

"Seeing that I had blood pouring from my mouth me he ran quickly and escaped onto a tender to his boat."

The photographer added: "Had he have asked in a civil manner I would have just deleted the pictures.

"He didn’t even ask he just attacked me from behind in a thuggish and brutish way. Not the behaviour you would expect from a man honoured with a knighthood."

But it's not the first time the mogul has been caught losing his temper.

In 2016 the mogul was tracked to his super-yacht in Ithaca, Greece, as he soaked up the sun amid the controversial collapse of BHS.

After being approached by Sky News reporter David Bowden, he told him to "go away" and threatened to call the police.

Sir Philip then launched himself at the camera, gesticulating wildly and warning: "That's going in the f***ing sea."

Bowden had asked him: "People will want to know why you're on holiday when they think you should be sorting out the pension deficit."

But Sir Philip said: "Will you go away? Go away!"

As he continued to be questioned, he added: "Which bit are you not understanding? Just go away. That's going in the f***ing sea."

Sky News said that, off-camera, the pair eventually calmed down and shook hands - but just weeks earlier Sir Philip was involved in a heated exchange with MPs.

He left members of the Select Committee stunned when he turned to co-chair Frank Field and asked him to get “your lady” — Labour’s Karen Buck — to stop giving him a hard time.

Sir Philip also stopped at one point to demand Tory backbencher Richard Fuller stop staring at him.

The under-fire businessman said: “Sir, do you mind not looking at me like that all the time, it’s really disturbing. Sorry, do you just want to stare at me, it’s making me uncomfortable that’s all.”

Mr Fuller replied: “I wasn’t quite just staring at you but I don’t want to make you uncomfortable. I don’t wish to make you uncomfortable."

He then told Horsham MP Jeremy Quin to "put your glasses back on, you look better with your glasses on".

When another MP on the committee asked him if he would prevent somebody buying BHS as it could hurt his ego, he blasted: "Oh come on please, that's an insult.

"You know that's really rude. I find that really rude [...] I'm glad the meeting is ending, I think that's disgusting."

'THE CHARGE SHEET IS GROWING': Politicians call for Philip Green to be stripped of his 'sir' title

There have been calls for retail tycoon Sir Philip Green to be stripped of his knighthood after he was named in Parliament as the businessman at the centre of #MeToo allegations of sexual harassment and racial abuse.

The chairman of the House of Commons Work and Pensions Committee Frank Field, who led condemnation of Sir Philip over his treatment of BHS pensioners, said: "The charge sheet against the knighthood is growing.

"Parliament and the country have made their views clear on this matter. Ultimately it's a decision for the Honours Forfeiture Committee."

Liberal Democrat leader Sir Vince Cable said Sir Philip "narrowly and luckily escaped losing his knighthood over the pensions scandal".

And he added: "If these allegations are correct, he should certainly be stripped of his knighthood."

Mr Field said he would push for the creation of a new procedure allowing MPs to raise abuse cases in Parliament.

"I am seeking to raise urgently with the Government the importance of having a mechanism in Parliament through which the voices of victims of abuse can be heard," said the Birkenhead MP.

"This would develop the role of the House of Commons in a way which stands up for people who have little money, against those who have much."

Lord Hain said he had received "overwhelming support - particularly from women" after making his shock statement to the House of Lords.

The recent allegations against Sir Philip do not mark the first time workers have spoken out about his alleged conduct.

An anonymous employee in 2016 wrote for "Hatred is a terrible thing, but I have no idea what other response there could possibly be to a man such as Philip Green.

"The man is like a cancer: seemingly determined to grow and spread his little empire with no concern whatsoever for the effect that it may have on others."

Philip Green named in Parliament by Peter Hain as Brit businessman in sex harassment gagging order scandal

Sir Philip was unmasked yesterday by former cabinet minister Lord Hain, who used the protection of parliamentary privilege to identify the Arcadia chairman as the individual behind a legal injunction preventing The Daily Telegraph from publishing "confidential information" from five employees.

The paper reported that the tycoon is a the centre of #MeToo allegations including sexual harassment and racial abuse.

He he said he "categorically and wholly" denied being guilty of any "unlawful sexual or racist behaviour", in a statement issued hours after the Labour peer's dramatic intervention in the House of Lords.
