When was Titanic II built, what route will the luxury vessel take and when is it due to set sail?

TITANIC's story of the ship that famously sunk back in 1912 is known all over the work, partly due to its adaptation into a film.
But now there's going to be a brand new Titanic replica, set to embark on its maiden voyage in 2022.
Who is making the ship and what route will it take?
The ship is being made by Australian company Blue Star Line.
In homage to its predecessor it will sail the same route that the original between ship did between Southampton and New York – hopefully without sinking this time.
The project was announced back in 2013, but is now finally coming to fruition, as revealed in by the company.
Fans who want to sail on the ship will be pleased to know the new ship has much more up-to-date safety and navigation features.
What is the interior?
Inside there are lots of references to the original ship, include the grand staircase made famous in the 1997 film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.
At the end of the film, Leo is seen waiting for Kate in a dream sequence on the stairs.
The ship will carry 2,400 passengers and 900 members of crew and will be the same length as the original ship – 883 feet.
There will be first, second and third class sections on the boat, as on board the original ship.
Restaurants and dining rooms on the original ship will also be replicated on the new version.
How do you get a ticket for the Titanic II?
Blue Star Line’s website has revealed that tickets are not yet available for purchase for the new ship, but that they will be made available on the website in future.
A notice on the website said: “Ticketing information including the date of the maiden voyage and ticket prices will, when released, be made available on this website.”
