AMAZING photos from each year of Prince Charles' life have been revealed to mark his 70th birthday.

The Prince of Wales is seen through the decades - from newborn baby and toddler to university student and naval officer.

The collection shows his move into becoming a husband, father and globe-trotting king-in-waiting.

His royal life is illustrated by each year's snapshot of him with his family, at official events and touring the world.

Charles, the nation's longest-serving heir to the throne, turns 70 on November 14.

The amazing photos give an insight into his life as a public figure and his relationships with the Queen, Prince Philip and his sons.
