Tulse Hill stabbing – drill rap gang’s sick taunts to mother of JaySav, knifed to death in Lawless London
A DRILL rap gang has taunted the family of a boy knifed to death in Lawless London - claiming he had his stomach "cut open like a bear" in a sick YouTube video.
John Ogunjobi was just 16 when he was stabbed while waiting for his mum in Tulse Hill on Monday, becoming London's fifth murder victim in just six days.
His mother was left screaming "my son, my son" as he lay dying on the streets of the capital.
A sickening drill rap has now reportedly been shared on YouTube - bragging about the brutal killing.
The lyrics boast that the teen had his stomach "cut open like a bear" before his mum started "screaming it ain’t fair".
The rapper than apparently claimed credit for the teen's death, finishing the song with a laughing emoticon.
It comes after friends claimed John, known under the pseudonym JaySav, was linked to the Lower Tulse Hill gang, who made drill rap music videos.
claims he rapped about "cheffing" - slang for stabbing - enemies, along with brags about "drugs, money and skeng" - slang for a gun.
One of his friends said: "John was in a gang, he had enemies. They did things – you know like gang stuff."
It is understood the teen appears in drill rap videos on YouTube with gang members thought to be monitored by Met Police.
Other videos have been shared online mentioning JaySav, including one titled "Tulse Hill Slums".
The music videos have been thrown into the spotlight for their use of violent language, sparking fears the aggressive lyrics are fuelling violence on London's streets.
But John's family has since denied he was involved with the gang.
One family member said: "He was retaking his GCSEs and was planning to go into engineering."
A YouTube spokesman said: “Our hearts go out to his family for their loss. We do not allow videos that are abusive or that promote violence on YouTube.
"We work closely with community organisations and the Metropolitan Police who understand and provide relevant context for videos, and we act quickly to review and remove them when they violate our policies. In the UK, we have developed policies specifically to help tackle knife and gang crime.”
The Sun Online recently revealed the hidden world of drill music, the violent soundtrack at the heart of London's gangland.
Police have revealed concerns there could be a connection between the music and the wave of lethal violence to take hold of the capital.
The community has been left horrified after the week of bloody violence in London this week.
Rocky Djelal, 38, Jai Sewell, 15, Malcolm Mide-Madariola, 17, and Ayodeji Habeeb Azeez, 22, were all killed in the six days from October 31 to November 5.
'HE LOOKED LIKE AN ANGEL': Witness describes chilling aftermath as victim of fatal stabbing lay in the street
One witness to the aftermath of the Tulse Hill murder said the boy looked "like an angel".
Paulina Wedderburn saw the victim's emotional mother and father were at the scene and said it took some 15 minutes for emergency crews to arrive.
"The boy was laying down. He looked like an angel, like he was sleeping," Mrs Wedderburn said on Tuesday morning.
"I just feel sorry for the mum. The mum's screams, I can't get out of my head.
"It's awful. Imagine being a mother seeing that."
Mrs Wedderburn, who has lived in a flat in Greenleaf Close for decades, lamented the recent spate of violence and killings in south London, saying it had not always been that way.
"What's going on? What is it? Why do they have to be killing each other?" she said.
"When I was growing up in the 70s, if there was a fist fight, that was it. There was no knives.
"All you're doing is upsetting families. If you saw the mum and dad, it was heartbreaking."
It comes after a man was arrested in Enfield, North London, last night, over the stabbing of a man in his 20s last night.
A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
In figures compiled by Anti-Knife UK, it has emerged that this marked the 250th fatal stabbing across the UK so far this year.
This makes the figure bigger than both 2015 and 2016 combined - and the fifth knife murder in London in just six days.
