THIS is the chilling moment Paige Doherty's killer calmly denies murdering the schoolgirl in previously unseen police interviews.
Evil John Leatham was nailed for the 15-year-old's death and caged for life in 2016 thanks to a catalogue of damning evidence - including the moment he moved her body in his car.
But he had initially denied knowing Paige – even telling police in the clips he was positive they wouldn’t find any of her blood in his sandwich shop days after brutally murdering her in a ten-minute bloodbath.
Tonight, the heated murder interrogation by cops after his arrest has been aired for the first time on Channel 5.
Leatham, who was 32 when he was caged, can be seen coolly sitting in the interview room and offering "no comment" when asked if he killed the tragic teen.
Channel 5's Murder Next Door revealed police snared the crazed knife fiend with blood found between the floorboards of his deli.
Interviews with forensic officers showed floorboards in the takeaway were pulled up to reveal spots of blood pooled under the laminate flooring.
It comes despite sicko Leatham's efforts to conceal his horrendous crime after buying bleach and bin bags from the shop next door.
As well as the horror knife wounds, Paige suffered 43 blows to her head and neck with some described as “fatal lacerations”.
She said: “This will finally show the truth about what happened to our little girl.
“We lost Paige in the most cruel way.
“Murder Next Door will highlight how dangerous the world we are living in is and what can happen.”
And social media users have united in an outpouring of grief for Pamela and Paige's loved ones after the grim new details came to light in tonight's show.
Kelsey Flynn said: "Paige Doherty's documentary on channel 5 is actually heartbreaking."
Caragh Morrison added: "That documentary about Paige Doherty was absolutely brutal. Read and heard the story a million times but it still shocks me everytime."
And Holly Anderson wrote: "Paige Doherty documentary was heartbreaking to watch. I can't get my head around how someone so evil could be produced.
