THIS is the chilling moment masked machete raiders burst into a home and threatened to kill a heavily pregnant woman.
The hooded thugs stormed the house in Sparkhill, Birmingham, and demanded gold and cash from the terrified owners.
When the 25-year-old, who is eight months pregnant, refused, they threatened to kill her with a machete.
The gang then fled the home empty handed - leaving the mum-to-be, her aunt and her two small children traumatised.
Her dad told : "They are lower than low.
"They have got sisters and mothers - what if someone did that to their mother?
"During the last few days, they panic if they hear the slightest noise. They are shaken. It is very traumatic for them.”
The mum had been with her two-year-old son, her 41-year-old aunt and her nine-year-old daughter when the doorbell rang just after 8.30pm on Friday.
Harrowing footage shows the masked intruders bursting inside after the woman opened it thinking it was her brother.
The four men demanded cash and said they had "information" there was gold in the house.
One then menacingly bashed the machete on the kitchen worktop as the pregnant victim told them there was nothing in the house.
The thugs checked the upstairs before saying they "wanted more" when the aunt offered up the rings on her fingers.
They then fled the scene in a Renault Megane, with cops now hunting the raiders.
A spokeswoman from West Midlands Police said: “Police are investigating an attempted robbery after four men entered a house on Bromyard Road in Sparkhill just after 8.30pm on Friday (23 November).
“It is believed one of the men was armed with a knife and made threats as the others searched the upstairs part of the property.
“They made their escape without taking anything with them.”
