Woman’s secret affair with the man she called Dad rips family apart after she nicks mum’s lover
The pair have no regrets despite Sasha Quantrell's grandad being jailed for brutal axe attack on her man
SMITTEN Sasha Quantrell has told how she plunged her family into chaos by nicking her mum’s lover Christopher Willett — who she used to call “Dad”.
And the pair insisted they have no regrets about the fury their relationship has caused — despite Sasha’s grandad being caged for a savage attack on Christopher, 36.
She was just seven when her mother Claire, 43, met the tubby factory supervisor in 2003 and he moved in with them in Aberdeen.
But 11 years later Sasha ended up in bed with Christopher while her mum was in hospital — and kept up their secret affair after she got out.
Now she’s sharing a flat in the city with the former election candidate for the racist National Front.
Sasha, 23, said: “All I’ve got left is Christopher. He’s always been there for me. I did call him ‘Dad’ but my mum forced me into it.
“I don’t miss my family. I just focus on each day as it comes.”
But Christopher admitted: “I accept it’s very unusual and not what you’d class as a normal relationship.
“I realise that when you cheat it’s immoral. It happens to be worse as it’s my ex-partner’s daughter.”
Sasha was 19 when the pair first had sex in December 2014.
She recalled: “Christopher was on his computer and I started kissing him. I don’t know why, it just happened. It didn’t feel weird.”
Christopher said: “It was like, ‘Woah.’ A thousand and one things went through my head. I thought, ‘Oh my god, did that just happen?’”
The pair decided not to say a word but kept having secret romps after Claire was released from hospital.
Christopher said: “Love is blind. Love makes you do crazy things.
“There was no way to bring it up. I couldn’t just say, ‘By the way, I’m sleeping with your daughter, what do you want for your supper?’
“I thought it was going to get really messy — and I was right.”

After nine months of bedding his partner’s girl on the sly, Christopher walked out on Claire.
But all hell broke loose when Sasha came home from his flat and told her mum she’d slept with him.
She claimed her family forced her to lie to cops that Christopher raped her — but later changed her story to the truth that they were a couple.
The pair were quizzed several times by the police and social workers.
But it’s understood they ruled no crime had been committed because Christopher never married Claire or adopted her daughter.
Sasha said: “When I wouldn’t say he’d raped me, my grandad told me that I was no longer part of the family.”
She warned Christopher her relatives were threatening him. Then in September last year her grandad John Quantrell, 65, attacked him with an axe as he left work.
Christopher, who was also hit by a car in the horror incident, suffered a broken leg and thumb plus cuts to his head, face and cheek.
He had metal plates and bolts put in his leg at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where he also had a skin graft op.
And yesterday his assailant was found guilty of attempted murder and faces a lengthy jail term.
Christopher said: “As far as I’m concerned this was a terror attack. They had an agenda to try to inflict as much damage as possible on me.
“They failed for the most part. There’s no point dwelling on it and being a victim — I’m a survivor.”
He and Sasha now want to get on with planning the rest of their lives.
They poked fun at the controversy by posing with a waxwork of telly talk-show host Jeremy Kyle, holding signs saying ‘Affair’ and ‘Mistress’.
Sasha said: “All I want is to be with Christopher. I love him and it’s nobody’s business but ours. It’s not about looks, it’s about personality.”
But her lover revealed he has ruled out them ever walking up the aisle.
He said: “We’ve talked about it but there’s no way we could get married.
“It would make an already sticky situation even trickier.”
And Christopher admitted his own family took it “very badly” when they heard about him and Sasha.
He said: “They find it disgusting and distasteful. My mum is dead-set against it.
“Folk might look at me and wonder why Sasha’s with me. But I don’t care. I’m a big boy with thick skin.”
Christopher was heavily involved in setting up a new National Front branch in Aberdeen in 2010.
He stood for the controversial far-right party in that year’s Holyrood poll and at the 2015 general election.
But he attracted just 213 votes then 186 in his bids to win a city seat.
Christopher said: “I’ve had death threats because of my involvement. You name it I’ve been called it. But I’m not embarrassed about it.”
