Grace Millane murder suspect, 26, ‘is a notorious woman chaser’
THE man suspected of murdering Brit backpacker Grace Millane was obsessed with chasing women, a former teammate claims.
The 26-year-old man, currently in police custody in New Zealand following the killing of the 22-year-old, was said to have “revolved his life around girls”.
The former softball teammate of the accused man told Daily Mail Australia: “He was always trying to get with younger girls... he was very quiet around the boys.
“His life revolved around girls, talking to girls.”
Yesterday it emerged that the accused — who cannot be named for legal reasons — had made a grovelling apology on Facebook before he was arrested.
He posted how he thought his "arrogance and selfishness" had affected the relationships he'd had with people in his personal life.
The man wrote he was "not proud" of the decisions he had made adding he knows he had made "mistakes" along the way.
But he then stated people can change how they "treat each other."
The suspect went on to claim he had been suffering with anxiety before saying sorry to anyone he had hurt.
Earlier it was alleged he was due to meet another Tinder date on the night Grace was murdered.
A woman, who did not wish to be identified, says she has been chatting with the 26-year-old suspect on the app for six months.
It comes after we revealed it's been claim he dated a number of Brit backpackers and liked “the admiration of young females”.
The suspect appeared in court on Monday accused of murdering the 22-year-old in New Zealand.
Now a woman has come forward saying she had arranged a face-to-face meeting with the accused on the same day, December 1, that Grace was last seen — but postponed the date.
She told the Sydney Morning Herald: “Obviously angels were watching over me.
“At the time it was just legitimately all normal.
“The only weird thing I thought about him was that he had asked me for feet photos and of me in high heels."
She said the man appeared to be a “decent guy”.
He also saw himself as a businessman and liked to meet women on Tinder, it was also claimed.
